A warm Apple Crumble is one of my favorite desserts any time of year! The apples, cinnamon and sugar combine to make a sweet delicious bowl of goodness, it’s like eating a piece of apple pie without the crust.
Here’s an easy Apple Crumble recipe you can make for your family that’s sure to please:
Ingredients: 8 apples, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1/2 cup flour, 1 stick butter.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Peel, core, and slice 8 apples and place in a 9×13 baking dish
In a large bowl combine the following apple crumble ingredients: 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1/2 cup flour. Mix Well.
Take a stick of cold butter and slice a few pieces of the butter into the oat bowl mixture. Press the butter and oat mixture with a fork to form crumbs. Keep slicing the butter and pressing the oat mixture with the fork to form coarse crumbs until the butter is gone.
Sprinkle the crumb mixture over apples and bake for 30 minutes or until apples are tender and the top is golden brown.
